John Barnes
Pastor
John and Beth Barnes are native Tennesseans and accepted the pastorate of LFA in
2003. The Barnes will celebrate their 36th wedding anniversary and 31
years of pastoral ministry in 2011. They have two grown children, John and
Christi, a wonderful son-in-law, Chad, and two grandchildren, Sydney Alyse and
Brendan Luke.
Brother John ministers with a teacher's heart and an evangelist's fire. He
also has an excellent singing voice and leads the worship. Beth gives lots
of support by singing in the praise team and guiding many of the church's
ministries. Both are "people persons" with vision for great things in
Lafayette.
